  I've had quite a few wonderful meals here, but last time we took our family down for an elegant/expensive lunch, the service was beyond rude—a server with a sour attitude mostly neglected us, then became confrontational when we only tipped him 15%. The food, too, was sub-standard this last time, and the key lime pie (normally one of our favorites)) resembled a wad of cold slimy gum. We were clearly fed last week's leftovers, there. We had to clear our own plates for our table as we waited to order and get dessert, and the waiter never took them from the adjoining one where we had placed them. We were the only people in the restaurant for most of our meal, so business was not the excuse. I'd suggest potential diners be forewarned of the inconsistency of the food and the service, because this is a pricey place with a limited menu.

  Pleasantly surprised. We stopped for lunch somewhat randomly and were happy to see out of the box, creative dishes described on the menu. There were 3 of us and we all had an excellent & timely lunch. I'll go back.
